Description
BMW KEY PROG 2 or BKP2 is the second generation of BMW key programmers, and it can offer many features for any BMW workshop. This programmer can program any BMW F-series keys and keys used on other vehicles with the same key scheme as the latest models of Rolls-Royce. BMW KEY PROG 2 is fully compatible with BMW vehicles equipped with CAS4 ECU (EWS4/EWS5 immobilizer systems).
BMW KEY PROG 2 (BKP2) compatibility
- CAS4 EWS4 – all versions fully supported.
- CAS4 EWS5 – only with software up to ISTA-P v.52 (01-2014 m.y.)
All key programming is made by flashing the ECU via a high-speed ENET bus. Flashing time about 2 minutes (may vary depending on vehicle).
